Teachings from the Reformation

  • Scripture Alone - There is no other source and foundation for our faith and life in Christ (Romans 10:17; 2 Timothy 3:14-17)
  • Faith Alone - it is only through faith that we receive God’s good gift of salvation (Galatians 2:16)
  • Grace Alone - it is only because of God’s undeserved favor towards us that we are saved (Ephesians 2:8-9)
  • Christ Alone - there is salvation in no one else (Acts 4:12)

Making Disciples - The Church continues the Great Commission through Word and Sacrament ministry

Worship - The time when God comes to his gathered people in a dynamic way to serve us through his Word and Sacraments and we respond in thanks and praise to him

Vocation - we are each called personally to faith in Jesus as our Savior and called to carry out all we do in our everyday lives in service to God and those around us

Family Ministry - the only way to strengthen families is to nurture Christ-centered living in all types of households

Fellowship - living as a community, we celebrate faith and life together

Mission Outreach - beginning in Montgomery and going out to the ends of the earth
